57, of Providence passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025.She was a caring and loving mom, grandma, wife and sister. She was loved by so many in her community in the in the US as well as in her hometown of Monte Plata, DR. She lightened every room she entered with her smile and laughter. She was always a person that you can count on when you needed someone to talk to or needed a hug.
She was also the founder of, Niño Divino, a charity she started that gave toys to young children in her hometown of Monte Plata. Her love for her family and friends was unmatched.
She lost her mother Juana in 2023 and her late father, Antonio, just two months ago and she remained strong for her family. Julita, like many called her, will be so missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing such an amazing woman.
She was the loving wife of Santo Hernandez. She is also survived by her three sons, Gregorio, Yohan, and Luismin Hernandez. She was loved by her grandchildren: Yancel, Aiden, Nyelise, Lismairy, Nyel, Yariam, Iomar, and Liam and she is also survived by her loving sisters and brothers.

Her Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Monday, April 14th at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 239 Oxford St., Providence, followed by burial at Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick. VISITING HOURS are Sunday, April 13th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
