72, of Johnston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the former husband of Nancy DiCicco-Gallagher. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Albert H. and Evelyn (Panaccione) DiCicco. Mr. DiCicco was a self-employed business man for many years until his retirement; he also served in the U.S. Army during peacetime and was a member of the Alling Memorial Golf Club, New Haven, CT.
Albert is survived by his loving children; Scott DiCicco and his wife Sandra of Johnston, Nicole Cavalloro and her husband David of Cranston, his step-children; Leisa Morin of Warwick and Desiree LeFebvre of TX. He was a cherished grandfather of Ashleigh and Brittney Hunter, Talia, Kylie and Layla DiCicco, Isabella and David Cavalloro. He was also the brother of Sandra Branca and her husband Rudy of Cranston and Kenneth DiCicco and his wife Donna of Narragansett. Albert was the loving mentor to Billy and Jamie Torello of CT.
His funeral will be held on Friday, February 20th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial, with military honors, will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston.
