Albert R. (Bob) Fiore

87, of East Greenwich, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 5, 2014. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Ann (DeMary) Fiore. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Attilio and Jennie (Fontana) Fiore. Bob was a US Army veteran serving during WW II. He was employed by the US Federal Civil Service at the US Naval Submarine Base, New London, CT for twenty-five years before his retirement. He is survived by his loving children, Robert G. Fiore and his wife (Hanne) of Baltimore MD, Laurie A. Bonin, of Cranston, and Christopher A. Fiore, of Providence. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, Christian, Daniel, Samantha, Shane, Ashley, Kyle, Dylan, and Kendall. Bob was the brother of the late Rocco, Frank, Anthony, Arthur, Jack and Dena Fiore. His funeral service and entombment with Military Honors will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
