86, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, May 03, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Catherine (Cece) Testa. They would have celebrated their 61st Wedding Anniversary on May 28th. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Carmine and Mary (Vitalo) Testa. Mr. Testa was the former owner and operator of Deluxe Auto Top of Cranston for 45 years, before retiring. He was an Army Veteran, serving during the Korean War and also a member of the Kelley Gazzero Post in Johnston. Al enjoyed spending time with his family and was a sports enthusiast. He loved the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics.
Besides his wife, Al is survived by his two children, Albert A. Testa, Jr. and his wife Jacqueline of Lincoln and Jo-Ann Angell of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Michael, Elizabeth, Jessica, Jason and granddog Max. Al was the dear brother of Richard Testa and Anna Budde, both of Warwick, and the late Michael and Anthony Testa.
His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-7 p.m.
