Alcide J. L'Heureux

81, of Hope, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at home. He was the beloved husband of forty-one years to Charlotte M. (Rossi) L'Heureux. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Alcide J. and Esther (Smith) L'Heureux. Alcide was the owner of A. A. Armory a military surplus company in Hope for over fifty years. He was a US Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the NRA. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Paul J. L'Heureux of Bristol, Marianne M. Cipriano of Cranston, Yvonne L. Cootes and her husband Jeffrey of Pawtucket, and the late Rhonda M. Allen and Linda K. Beaufort. Alcide was the cherished grandfather of Kayla Beaufort and six other grandchildren and the great-grandfather of four. He was predeceased by one brother. His funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS Friday morning 9:30-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smile Train, P.O. Box 96231, Washington, DC 20090-6231.
