Alessandra V. (Alviti) Delgado

88, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home, Cranston. Alessandra was the loving wife of the late Joseph Basile and Manuel Delgado. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Orlando and Alessandra (Marchioni) Alviti. Alessandra was a secretary for many years until retiring. She served as the president and vice president of St. Elizabeth Court Resident Council. Alessandra enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, sewing and quilting.

She is survived by her loving children, Sandra Miller and her husband Tom of Cranston, Frank Basile of Los Angeles, CA; step-children Richard Delgado and his wife Carol of Warwick and Susan Delgado of Warwick. She was the cherished grandmother of Matthew, Megan and Joshua; step-grandmother of Peter, Donna and Diana. Alessandra was the sister of Peter and Ralph Alviti, and the late Josephine Ciancola, Rose Arrighi, Raymond, John, Edalo and Vincent Alviti.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, August 25th, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in Edgewood Congregational Church, 1788 Broad Street, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Saturday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m.
