Alexander V. DeQuattro

88, of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Home, East Greenwich. He was the beloved husband of the late Antonetta "Etta" (Picozzi) DeQuattro. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Domenic and Christine (Guida) DeQuattro. Alex was a self-employed barber for ten years. He was also employed by the State of RI in the Building and Maintenance Department for over twenty years before his retirement. He was a very proud member of the Knights of Columbus, Dillon Council, and the Sons of Italy. He is survived by his loving son, Thomas A. DeQuattro and his wife Paula of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Amanda and Alyssa. He was the brother of the late Marie Raposa. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Saturday morning 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knights of Columbus, Dillon Council, 1675 Douglas Avenue, North Providence, 02904.
