Alfonse R. Famiglietti

99, of Cranston passed away peacefully on April 26, 2023.  He was the beloved husband of the late Dorothy T. Famiglietti for seventy-four years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alfonso and Theresa Famiglietti.

Mr. Famiglietti served in the US Navy during WWII. He received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s in business administration from the University of Rhode Island.

He worked as a mechanical engineer before retiring.  He enjoyed oil painting and other forms of art.

He leaves two sons, Bruce Famiglietti and his wife Katherine and James Famiglietti and his wife Catherine; and four loving grandchildren, Nicole, Kate, Caroline and Nicholas Famiglietti.  He was the brother of the late Rose Capobianco, Esther Fryer, Edward, Anthony and Eugene Famiglietti.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 5-8pm.
