85, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at home. He was the beloved husband of thirty years to Lena (Don Francesco) Anzevino, and the late Ann (DellaVentura) Anzevino. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Josephine (Natale) Anzevino Tamelleo. He was the step-son of the late Carmine Tamelleo Fred was a supervisor for the State of Rhode Island, Department of Health for twenty-five years before his retirement. He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War.
He is survived by his loving children, Alfred J. Anzevino, Jr., of Chicago, IL and JoAnn Benedetti and her husband Joseph of Johnston. He was the Brother of Elizabeth Lach of North Providence, Donald Tamelleo of Providence, Carmen Pizzi, and the late Lois Lorello and Joseph Tamelleo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted
