Alfred M D’Andrea III

69, of Cranston, RI and Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He rejoined his childhood sweetheart and late wife of 30 years, Donna (Anderson) D’Andrea. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred D’Andrea Jr. and Gloria (Calvino) Clavin.

Al was the President of A&A Window Cleaning for over 30 years. His business journey started from humble beginnings and was built on his tireless work ethic and commitment to customer service. He took great pride in his business accomplishments, but he was especially proud of his family.

His larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Al had a zest for life that was infectious, and his animated spirit touched the hearts of many. He never missed an opportunity to make people laugh, even in the face of life’s challenges. His humor was a gift that kept on giving. Beyond the titles of husband, father and grandfather, he served as a mentor and father figure to many.

Al loved hosting cookouts with his family and friends at his summer home in Narragansett. He was also an avid boater and lifelong car enthusiast. His garage wasn't just a collection of vehicles; it was a sanctuary where he could unwind and find joy. Whether it was cleaning his cars, trimming hedges, or just talking with friends, he had an appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. His legacy lives on in the many lives he touched.

Al will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Janet (Bove) D’Andrea, son Alfred M. D’Andrea IV;  daughter Danielle (D’Andrea) Guisti; stepdaughter Rochelle (Verdi) Messa; son-in-law Steve Messa; daughter-in-law Iris Ribeiro; grandchildren Gianna, Taylor, Steven, and Natalie. He is also survived by his sister, Deborah Petrella.

His visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17th from 4-8PM in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, January 18th at 10AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Al’s name and honor to HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI  02904.
