Alfred 'Fred' Pannone


88, of Warwick, passed away on Wednesday March 2, 2016 at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Cranston. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Esposito) Pannone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Serafino and Filomena (Scorpio) Pannone. Fred was a driving instructor for AAA for many years before retiring and was a WW-II Coast Guard veteran. Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Alfred Pannone, Jr. of Cranston, Larry Hannon of Cranston and Greg Pannone and his wife Cheryl of West Warwick, loving grandfather of Jessica; and loving great-grandfather of Mya, Aiden and Emma. He was the loving brother of the late Mary Conti, Angelo, Raymond and Pat Pannone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 10 a.m. Entombment with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Sunday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
