81, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2017 at Hebert Nursing Home in Smithfield. Born in Johnston, he was the son of Vincenzo and Carmella (DiLullo) Perfetto. Alfred worked in the construction industry as an operating engineer and was a member of Local 57 for many years. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Al enjoyed travel, salt-water fishing, a good meal and tall stories.
Alfred is survived by his loving children, Sandra Campanella and her husband Gianfranco of North Smithfield, James Perfetto of West Warwick and Julie Adrich and her husband Terrence of Johnston. He was the grandfather of Nichole Soltys and James Perfetto. He was the beloved, long time companion of Anna Rounds of Warwick.
He leaves his brothers, Ralph Perfetto of North Carolina, Anthony Perfetto of Johnston and William Perfetto of Johnston and his sisters Connie Hannan, Minnie Perfetto and Sue Perfetto all of Johnston and Sr. Eleanor Perfetto ASCJ of Higganum CT. He was the brother of the late Madeline Perfetto, Elizabeth Travaglio, Anna Taglione, Florence DiDonato, Nicholas Perfetto, Vincent Perfetto and Louis Perfetto.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, October 10, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church in Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
