ALFRED M. "BARNEY" RICCI
89, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Morgan Health Center, Johnston. He was the husband of the late Anna M. (Berardis) Ricci. Born in Johnston, he was a son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Macera) Ricci. Mr. Ricci was a construction worker for various construction companies in the Providence area for over forty years before retiring in 1982.
He is survived by his loving daughter Marie G. Micheli and her husband Rudy of Johnston. Barney was the cherished grandfather of Joseph A. Micheli. He was the brother of Angelina Storti, Concetta Ricci, and Della DelGrande, and the late John and Thomas Ricci, Rose Moschetti, Vincenza Robbio, Mary Marandola, and Mina DeDonato.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans of RI, Poisson Cournoyer Chapter 12, PO Box 41555, Providence, RI 02940.
