Alice R. (White) Pashalian
101, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Pashalian. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Richard "Jermakian" and Annie (Kupelian) White.
Alice was a member of the Cranston YMCA and drove there on her own every day to swim until the age of 98. She was an avid reader of both fiction and biographies and was a member of Mr. Brown's Shakespeare's Club on Benefit St., Providence. Alice was an avid gardener, enjoyed cooking and loved art and museums.
She was the devoted mother of Joan Morrison and her husband Howard of Jamestown and Joyce Pashalian of Providence; and dear sister of the late John and Edward White and Pauline Stanley.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Funeral Service in Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church, 70 Jefferson St., Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will be at North Burial Ground, Providence. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
