Alice R. (DePari) Pontarelli

92, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of the late William Pontarelli Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Ernest DePari Sr., and Rosina (D’Angio) DePari. Mrs. Pontarelli was worked for Miriam Hospital for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Elks Lodge, and enjoyed bowling, country line dancing, game shows and Foxwoods.

Alice is survived by her loving children, William “Bill” Pontarelli, Jr. and his wife Janice of Johnston, and Cheryl Ann Vessella and her husband Gary of Johnston. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael Vessella, Sara Hebert, Gina Vessella, and Jessica Pontarelli. She was the great grandmother of Sofia Hebert, Juliana Hebert, and Naya Evans.  Alice was the sister of the late Ernest DePari Jr., and Carl DePari.

Her funeral services are respectfully private.
