ALLEN J. TURNBULL

74, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the former husband of Betty (Viau) Turnbull of West Warwick. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late George and Alice (Hagerty) Turnbull. Mr. Turnbull was a self employed restaurant owner for many years before his retirement. He was very ambitious worker and an excellent provider to his family. Allen will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was the rock of his family.

He is survived by his loving children, Deborah A. Turnbull of West Warwick, Allen J. Turnbull, Jr. Cranston, and June M. Turnbull of North Providence. Allen was the cherished grand father of four, Allen, III, Tori, and twins Christopher and Anthony. He was the brother of Edward Turnbull of Bristol, and his twin Walter Turnbull of Cranston.

His funeral service and burial will be private.
