22 years of age, of Warwick, passed away on Tuesday, October 4th. He was the cherished son of Carlos A. Depina of Cranston and Brenda A. (Nunez) Alejo of Warwick. Alonzo attended and graduated Coventry High School in May of 2012. Alonzo was a pantry chef at Two Ten Oyster Bar in South Kingston. Alonzo was a good hearted, bright and full of fun with a genuine love, a gift he was willing to share with others, who impacted the lives of so many of his friends and peers. Alonzo was energetic, kind and compassionate. People around him would gravitate toward him. He made his mark where ever he was and was loved for just being him.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his Step-Father Edwin Alejo, brothers Jorge Sarit, Angel Corrtoreal, and Jamaal Alejo, all of Warwick. He was the beloved grandson of Alberto A. Depina, his Wife Antonia S. Depina, the late Benvinda J. Rocha of Sao Vicente, Cape Verde, Zoila Nunez of East Greenwich and the late Emenejildo Nunez of Barcelona, Spain. He was the nephew of Fernand Depina, Steven Depina, Jonathan Depina, Henry Roux, Candy (Depina) Messier, Ines (Depina) Cano, Carlita Depina, Sophie Depina, Marie Antoinette Roux, Ernesto Nunez, Vladimir Nunez, Irene (Nunez) Lewis, Zoila G. Nunez and Leslie Nunez.
Alonzo’s Funeral Service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. VISITING HOURS: Saturday Evening from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
