AMELIA E. (VENDETTI) SCHIANO-GAGNE

98, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the wife of the late John Gagne and the late Thomas Schiano. Born in Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Nunziata (Ciccone) Vendetti.
Amelia was the owner of the former Special Laundry Service in Providence for many years before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Kenneth R. Schiano and his wife Gina of Cranston and the late Linda Furia; loving grandmother of Ashley and Brandon Schiano; loving great-grandmother of Lauren and Mia Scavitto and Dennis Austin; and dear aunt of Edward Manfredi, Nancy Falcone, John Vendetti, Morgan Vendetti and Paula Picardy. She was the sister of the late Josephine Cuthrell, Helen Manfredi and John, Morgan, Harry and George Vendetti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston, followed by burial at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
