81, of Johnston, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2015 peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Amelia was the wife of the late Carmine D. Vita. Born in S. Ambrogio, Italy, she was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Michelina (Rossi) DiNitto. Amelia is survived by her children, Rosemarie Richard of West Greenwich, Carmine Vita, Jr. and his wife Kristen of Johnston, and JoAnn Vita Spicuzza and her husband Dennis of Johnston. She was the grandmother of Anthony and Alex Vita, Nicole and Allison Richard, and Madison Spicuzza. Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Avenue, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS are on Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Entombment will take place in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum, St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
