America E. 'Rickey' Santurri
95, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Cra-Mar Meadows, Cranston. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Enrico and Luigia (Natalizia) Santurri. America was employed by the former Allendale Insurance Company, Johnston for twenty years before retiring in 1982. She had previously worked for the former Shepard's Department Store for fourteen years.
Rickey was a member of the Rhode Island Sound Chorus, the Cranston Senior Center and its Garden Club.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Rickey was the sister of the late Joseph ,Rocco, Louis and Pasqualina J. Santurri, Jessie DeAngelis, Mary Manni, Giaconti Manni, and Angelina Fabrizio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
