Amphone Thounsavat

of Pawtucket, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017, peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Khanthong (Thongphala) Thounsavath.  Born in Laos, Amphone was the son of the late Mar and Pong Thounsavath.

Mr. Thounsavat was a dedicated worker at Cooley Group, Inc for many years. During his free time he enjoyed the outdoors, loved fishing and was a sports enthusiast. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter Kaysone Thounsavath Monteiro and her husband Jason, and his son Billy Thounsavath, all of Pawtucket.  Amphone was also the cherished grandfather of Donovan and Amelia Monteiro.  He was the dear brother of Bounthavy Thounsavath, Chone Thounsavath, Bounchanh Houndly and the late Peung Thounsavath.  He also left behind many nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday from 1:00-2:00 p.m.  VISITING HOURS are on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
