Andres S. Flores, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026, in Providence, Rhode Island. He was born on November 13, 1947, in Morazan, El Salvador, and for many, his legacy will be one of joy, laughter, and a deep-seated commitment to his family and faith.
Andres dedicated many years of his life to a career as a marble and granite courier, showcasing his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. He was admired by many for his unwavering positivity, infectious laugh, and the unique bond he developed with everyone around him. Known for his creativity and humor, he had a special talent for assigning nicknames that reflected his affection for those he loved. Andres had a warm spirit and could effortlessly brighten a room with his presence.
Affectionately known as "Chamba" among his friends, he was a passionate soccer player in his younger years and enjoyed watching football, soccer, and baseball. His love for sport was matched only by his enthusiasm for shopping and finding good deals, a pastime that brought him joy. Not only known for his interests, Andres was also the go-to person among family and friends for help with minor injuries and fixing anything around the house, further demonstrating his nurturing and caring nature.
Above all, Andres cherished the time he spent with his family. He loved gathering together for cookouts and family get-togethers, where laughter and love filled the air. His faith in God was a guiding force in his life, and his favorite flower was roses, a symbol of the love and beauty he embraced every day. Musically, he found comfort and enjoyment in "Let It Be" by The Beatles, a reminder of resilience and hope.
Andres is survived by his beloved wife, Milagros Flores, and his children: Elbia E. Flores, Salvador Flores, Jose J. Flores, Alejandro R. Flores, Marvin W. Flores, and Evelyn Flores, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will carry on his legacy of love and laughter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Fuentes and Santos Flores.
His Funeral will be held on Monday, January 12th at 10:00 a.m. from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Ann Cemetery Chapel, Cranston.
Visiting hours will be Sunday, January 11th from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home.
Andres S. Flores will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his spirit will continue to guide his family and all those touched by his kindness and laughter.
