ANDREW P. "SPEED" SISTI
89, of Cranston, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 30, 2011. Andrew was the devoted husband of Anne (Montaquila) Sisti for 63 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Gerardo and Assunta (Pisano) Sisti. He was the loving father of Andrew, David and the late Rosemary Sisti-Bixby. He was the loving brother of the late Anthony, Benjamin, John and Louis Sisti. Andrew leaves behind four grandchildren; Joseph Bixby, Andrea Bixby-Brosi, Christopher Sisti, Jade Sisti, and one great-grandchild, Callum Bixby. He was a US Army veteran serving during WW II. Andrew was a member and past Commander of the John E. Cooney American Legion Post #84, Cranston. He retired as an Associate at Berkander Company, for which he worked for over twenty-five years.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 5-8 p.m.
