Angela (Marandola) Caputo

of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Cortland Place in Greenville.  She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony C. Caputo, Sr.  Born in Johnston, Angela was a daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia (Amato) Marandola.  She was a bookkeeper for many years, before retiring.

She is survived by her children, Anthony C. Caputo, Jr. of Dayville, CT, and Vera Ricci of North Scituate.  Angela was the cherished grandmother of Christy, Bethany, Lynn and Lauren.  She was the great grandmother of Jackson, Zachary, Sophia, Carter and Robert. Angela was the dear sister of the late Louis Marandola and Josephine Gelsomino.

Her funeral will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Providence at 11 a.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS: Monday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
