Angela (Malascalza) Lyons

84, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2014 peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family. Angela was the wife of the late Joseph Daniel Duffy and John "Jack" Lyons. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Raffaela (DeSimone) Malascalza.

Angela is survived by her daughters JoAnn Duffy of Johnston, Linda L. Levesque and her husband Paul of Warwick, and Kathleen Hart and her husband Kenneth of Johnston. Angela was the cherished grandmother of Tayla Scungio of Johnston, stepmother of Patricia Lyons and sister of Margherita Brown, and the late Gilda MacFarlane and Etta Vezina.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Avenue, Providence at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
