Angelo DeFusco

74, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of fifty-one years to Evelyn P. (Acciardo) DeFusco. Born in Casserta, Italy he was a son of the late Raffaele and Concetta (Licchardi) DeFusco. Angelo was a machine operator for the former American Insulated Wire Company of Cranston for sixteen years. He was also a stone mason for the former Igetti & Son Masonry for three years. Most recently he was employed by the former North Safety Products Company as a material handler before his retirement. Angelo was an avid wine and sausage maker. He loved his garden and preserving the vegetables from the garden.

Besides his wife he is survived by his sons, Ralph DeFusco and his fiancée Kerri Costa of Johnston, and Anthony A. DeFusco and his wife Jillian of Scituate. He was the cherished grandfather of  Ronnie DeFusco, Jennifer DeFusco, Haley Blackington, Gianna DeFusco, Michael Houle, Jr. Isabella and Gabriella DeFusco. He was the brother of Oreste DeFusco of Johnston, Sanducha, Maria, Josephine, Pasqueline, Angelina, Liberrino, all in Italy

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church,  4 Lafayette Street, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS Sunday 4-8 p.m.
