Angelo Franco

Angelo Franco, 94, of Delray Beach, Florida, formerly of Warwick Rhode Island, where he lived for many years, passed away on October 21, 2026. Born on May 20, 1932, in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Lena (Almagno) Franco.

Angelo proudly served in the United States Army. Following his Military service, he met his beloved wife Teresa and were married for 62 years until her death in 2021. Teresa was the love of his life.

Angelo retired in 1982 as President of Pezrow New England, Inc., a corporation engaged in the food brokerage business, out of Westwood, Massachusetts. Angelo was a lifetime member of the Alpine Country Club where he enjoyed his favorite game of golf. He and his wife enjoyed travelling all over the world with all their very special friends and family. Through all his golfing adventures and vacations, gatherings, shared stories and countless memories, those friendships became an enduring and deeply meaningful part of his life. He was blessed with many friends in Rhode Island and Delray Beach Florida.

Although Angelo did not have any children of his own, he and Teresa had several nieces and nephews that were all like children to them. They were the center of his life watching them grow with their families. He loved spending time with each of them individually and was never shy about offering advice. He hoped to model for them the values that mattered most to him: family, hard work, integrity, generosity, and service.

All of his nieces and nephews looked up to him with such respect and admiration. He was so loved by them all. Angelo was a generous, loving man, who deeply loved his family. Family was central to his life. His love for family was reflected in the relationships he nurtured and the generations who will continue to carry his memory forward.

Angelo is survived by his beloved brother Raymond Franco of Johnston, RI. He was predeceased by his wife Teresa (Ricci) Franco, and predeceased his brothers Corrado Franco, Phillip Franco, and sisters Ida Rossi, Clara Perotti, Rose DeLuca, and Mary Parente

Angelo will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever cherished by all who knew him.
