97, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 23, 2013 at Cherry Hill Manor, Johnston. He was the beloved husband of the late Esther (Pannone) Moretti. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Michael and Maria (Moretti) Moretti. He was a US Army veteran during WW II serving in the 12th Armored Division. Tony was employed by Improve Seamless Wire Company as a wire drawer for many years before retiring in 1987. He is survived by his loving children, Marie Ginolfi and her husband Anthony of Johnston, Michael T. Moretti and his wife Barbara of West Warwick, Anthony Moretti of Cranston and his former wife Kathleen of West Warwick, and Stephen Moretti and his wife RoseMarie of Warwick. He was the cherished grandfather of nine and the great-grandfather of fifteen. Tony was the brother of Jennie Titherington, Edith Russo, Carmella Johnston, Evelyn Padula, and the late Thomas, Louis and Loretta Moretti, Lena Petrillo, Rose DelGuidice, Angie Antonucci, Celia Spolidoro, Anna Izzi, Theresa Pacifico, and Mary Pannone. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
