88, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Frank Di Lanna, now reunited in peace. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Mary (Monti) Marcotrigiano.
She is survived by her four children, Janet A. Cambio and her husband, Todd of South Kingstown, Donna A. Di Lanna-Moore and her husband, Keith, Frank Di Lanna Jr. and his wife, Judith, and David Di Lanna and his wife, Trisha, all of Cranston.
Ann was also a beloved grandmother to Todd Jr., Kayley, Amy, Frank III, McKenzie, Derek, Domenic, David Jr., Devin, and the late Keith Moore Jr. She was a great-grandmother to Sebastian, Lorenzo, and Roman, whose presence brought her endless smiles.
Ann was the sister of the late Jane (Marcotrigiano) Sczerbinski of Cranston. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Growing up in Providence, she attended Holy Ghost School, and then graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1954. In 1957, she went on to marry her soulmate, Frank. They started their life together in Johnston, before moving to Cranston.
Ann dedicated her life to being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great pride in raising and caring for her family, and for decades, joyfully cared for her grandchildren. She formed a special bond with each grandchild leaving a lasting imprint on their hearts.
She also enjoyed many hobbies: including bowling, bingo, sewing, and crocheting beautiful afghans. She always made sure to let each child and grandchild pick out their favorite-colored yarn. She had a sharp, inquisitive mind and was always eager for the next Sudoku or word puzzle to solve, with Wordscapes being her favorite.
Ann was always full of stories, and enjoyed long phone calls catching up with friends and family. She also expressed her love through cooking and baking, becoming well known for her Italian dinners, wine biscuits, cheesecakes, and apple pie. When she wasn’t in the kitchen, you could find her sitting with her husband watching every Yankees game from the start of the season to the very end.
Ann will live in our hearts forever and will be lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family who will carry on her memory and traditions.
