91, of Cranston, passed away on Monday January 18, 2016. Ann was the loving wife of the late Salvatore D. Raia. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Filomena (Geremia) Campopiano.
She worked part time for Stop and Shop while raising her children and was employed at the State of RI Retirement Office for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her three children; Maureen (Mark Taylor) Raia -Taylor of Narragansett, Elaine (Richard) Poncelet of Saunderstown and Frederick (Nancy) Raia of Santa Clara, CA. She also leaves her four grandchildren Kate Taylor, Jesse Taylor, Daniel Raia and Breanna Pucine and two great-grandchildren.
Ann was predeceased by her seven siblings; Marie, Joseph, Louis and Alfred Campopiano, Carmela Andreozzi, Ida Mickle and Lillian Cifelli.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, 297 Laurel Hill Ave. Providence at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are Friday morning from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
