of Warwick, Rhode Island, passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 100. She now joins her beloved husband, Anthony Ventetuolo Sr., and many family members including her two sisters, three brothers and dear friends she met over the course of a long and full life. Born in July 1925 to Desiderio and Virginia (Tedeschi) Lautieri,
Ann grew up during the Great Depression and witnessed a century of extraordinary change. She is survived by her son, Anthony Ventetuolo Jr. and his wife, Marilyn (Mochelski), of Naples, Florida; her granddaughter, Dr. Corey E. Ventetuolo and her husband, Francis Diaz, of Barrington, Rhode Island; and her grandson, Anthony J. Ventetuolo and his wife, Jennah Ventetuolo, of Sturbridge, Massachusetts. Nothing brought Ann more joy in recent years than her four great-grandchildren Luca, Joseph, Miles, and Sloane. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, second cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Ann raised her family in the 1950s and was a successful businesswoman, owning and operating her own beauty salon. She was an avid golfer, longtime member of Valley Country Club and played many statewide courses as an active member of the W-RIGA. She enjoyed spirited High-Low-Jack card games throughout her life and was a die-hard Red Sox fan. She and her husband
spent many happy winters in Florida, traveled abroad during retirement, and waltzed through life together as one another’s favorite dance partner for decades. Ann will always be remembered as an exceptional Italian cook who brought everyone together with food, laughter, and her unmistakable smile.
Her family is deeply grateful to her doctors, caregivers, and the staff and hospice team at Brentwood by the Bay Assisted Living for their kindness and dedication.
In keeping with Ann’s wishes, services will be private. Donations in her memory can be made to first tee Rhode Island: https://firstteerhodeisland.org/get-involved/
