Anna Mary (LaChapelle) Accetturo

67, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017, surrounded by her family at home. She was the loving wife of Joseph Accetturo, ESQ for 44 years. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of Viola (Tella) LaChapelle and the late Rudolph LaChapelle. Mrs. Accetturo was an accounts payable clerk for the Cranston School Department for 25 years until her retirement. Anna loved her family, reading books and Tuesday night coffee with her friends. She was also a former union rep for local 2044.

Besides her mother and husband, she is survived by her son Joseph Accetturo II, CPA and his wife Cristina of North Providence. Anna was the cherished grandmother of Mia and Sophia Accetturo. She was the sister of John LaChapelle of Johnston and Marie Accetturo of Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 4th, at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, 4 Lafayette St, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday, May 3rd, from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
