Anna (Tassone) Amitrano

90, of North Providence, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at Cra-Mar Meadows in Cranston.  She was the beloved wife of the late Vito J. Amitrano.  Born in Providence, Anna was a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Ricci) Tassone.

She is survived by her loving children, Thomas E. Amitrano and his husband Herman “Jay” Schaper of Paterson, NJ, Annette Matrone and her husband Stephen Matrone of Cranston, and Vito J. Amitrano, Jr. of Bristol.  Anna was the cherished grandmother of Joanna Arrighie and her husband Robert, and Jessica Gardner and her husband Neil.  She was the great grandmother of Emma Arrighie, and Olivia, Ava and Antonia Gardner.  She was the sister in law of Theresa Amitrano Pascale, and was also predeceased by nine siblings.

Her funeral services were private.
