81, of Cranston, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at home. Her beauty and grace passed from a ravaging cancer to eternal peace and joy of heaven. Anna was the beloved wife of sixty-three years to Robert A. Crossley, Sr. She was the daughter of the late Eccle and Elena (Natalizia) D’Orsi.
Besides her husband she is survived by her loving son, Robert A. Crossley, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Providence. Anna was the cherished grandmother of Shaina Crossley of Providence, and Kira Morin and her husband Andrew of Johnston and the great-grandmother of five. She was the sister of the late Arthur A. D’Orsi.
Anna will be greatly missed; she and her husband Bob were truly soulmates. They shared wonderful memories of many happy and joyous times together as a loving couple and family. Anna’s spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved and knew her. Anna was known for her culinary skills sharing with family and friends her many meals and desserts.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew’s Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to, St. Bartholomew’s Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence, RI 02909-3834.
