Anna D. (Andreozzi) DiPaolo, 98, of “Shore Acres” North Kingstown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at her home of 70 years with her loving and devoted sons by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio “Tony” DiPaolo. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosa (Piaciatelli) Andreozzi.
In addition to raising her family, Anna worked alongside her husband Tony for 33 years as a bookkeeper in the family business A&J Distributors.
Anna could be found cooking and baking at all hours of the night. Her specialty was “The Twisted Cookie” which she made for over 80 years. We will miss “Cookie”, a nickname she was given by her husband.
She was the loving mother of sons Anthony and Paul DiPaolo whom she lived with and a daughter Denise Merrill and her husband Ed of North Kingstown. She leaves five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and was the sister of Joseph Andreozzi and his wife Rosemary of North Providence and the late Frank, Victor, John, Dr. Armondo and Anthony Andreozzi, Evelyn Previte and Dorothy Andreozzi.
Her Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Thursday, March 21st at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School St., North Kingstown, followed by burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
