Anna (Vona) Dolce
94, of Cranston passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the Elmhurst Extended Care in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Dolce. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James and Benedetta (Mancini) Vona.
Anna was an avid golfer and was a member of the Alpine Country Club for over 50 years.
She is survived by her loving children, Joy Geer of Groton, CT, James Dolce and his wife Gerri of Johnston, and Arthur Dolce, Jr. and his wife Linda of Warwick; 4 cherished grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; dear brother Michael Vona of Pittsburgh, PA. She was the sister of the late Mary Ledoux.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Apostles Church, 800 Pippin Orchard Rd., Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS will be Thursday morning from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Elmhurst Extended Care, 50 Maude Street, Providence, RI 02908.
