Anna (Bennett) Luther

104, passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at Cra-Mar Meadows in Cranston.  She was the beloved wife of the late Edward T. Luther.  Born in Fall River, MA, Anna was the daughter of the late James and Annie (Thomas) Bennett.  Mrs. Luther was a jewelry assembler for 27 years at the former Ideal Jewelry Co., before retiring in 1980.  Anna was a member of the Red Hat Society of Providence.

She is survived by her children, Edward W. Luther and his wife Peggy of Westerly and Barbara A. Burghardt and her husband Ken of Cranston.  Anna was the cherished grandmother of ten and great-grandmother of fifteen.  She was the sister of the late Walter and Sidney Hedley.

Her funeral service and burial will be private. VISITING HOURS will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue Cranston on THURSDAY from 5:00-8:00 p.m. to which relatives and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
