Anna (Boranian) Parascandolo

96, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the devoted wife of the late Anthony Parascandolo, Sr.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Melkon and Hurpik (Sooltanian) Boranian. Anna served as a secretary for the Providence School Department for ten years.

She took great delight in cooking and gathering her family for Sunday dinners and holiday celebrations, which she held dear. She also found joy in tending her flowers, playing bingo, and dancing with her husband. A member of the St. Ann’s Society, she was a faithful parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church in Johnston.

Anna is survived by her loving sons, Anthony Parascandolo and his wife Susan of Glocester; Alan Parascandolo of Greenville; and Gerald Parascandolo of London, United Kingdom. She was the adored grandmother of eight, great-grandmother of eight, and great-great-grandmother of one. She was predeceased by her brother Peter Boranian, her sisters Mary Goshgarian and Margaret Boranian. She also leaves her beloved dog, Hagop.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 21, at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
