Annette L. (Laroche) Letoile

106, of East Greenwich, RI, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026, at St. Elizabeth’s Green House Home. She was the beloved wife of 45 years to the late George O. Letoile and previously resided in Pawtucket and Narragansett. Born in Warren, RI, Annette was the daughter of the late Jean Baptiste and Mary Victoria (Stride) Laroche. She was a graduate of Warren High School. Annette briefly worked as a medical assistant and was an accomplished homemaker, seamstress and creative crafter. She was a woman of faith and charity, always thinking of others.

Annette was the proud matriarch of her family and an inspiration to them all. Nothing brought her greater joy than her family. She was a devoted wife and a dedicated and loving mother of 5, mother-in-law, grandmother of 11, and great-grandmother of 16. She delighted to spend time with her family, enjoying countless gatherings on Great Island. She also enjoyed her game shows, planting flowers, numerous puzzles, reading and baking her delicious apple pies.

She is survived by her loving children, Karen Penn and her husband Wayne of South Kingstown; Richard Letoile and his wife Claudia of Warwick; Stephen Letoile and his wife Jeanne of Johnston; Denise Gormley and her husband Daniel of Smithfield; and Michele Murphy and her husband Michael of Narragansett, RI.

She was the sister of the late Eva Newman, Joseph Laroche, Walter Stride, Althea Gudlevich and Albert Laroche.

The family gratefully appreciates the kindness and compassionate care shown to Annette by the St. Elizabeth’s Green House Home staff and Hope Health Hospice.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 9 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mark’s Church, 15 Garden Court Cranston at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS are Saturday morning from 9 to 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in support of resident activities at the Green House Homes may be mailed to Saint Elizabeth Community, 2364 Post Road, Suite 100, Warwick, RI 02886 or a charity of your choice.
