Anthony S. Butmarc

87, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7, 2016. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Velma (D'Amico) Butmarc. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late Pasco and Assunta (Marro) Butmarc.

Anthony will be remembered always by his family and friends, for his kind and gentle ways. Anthony was the co-owner of the former Double B Service Station and the Double B Trucking Co. in Johnston. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He was the cherished father of Cindy A. Soccio and her partner William Merandi, and the late Kevin A. Butmarc and the devoted grandfather of Ryan Soccio and Evan Soccio and his fiancAC.e Kaitlin Falls. He was the brother of the late Philip Butmarc. The family gives a special thank you to Roxanne at Home and Hospice Care of R.I.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Burial with Military Honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Thursday from 5 - 7 p.m.
