Anthony Carello
82, of West Warwick, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 21, 2014 at West View Nursing Home, West Warwick. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Rosario and Marianina (Tortalani) Carello. Anthony was a Cranston Police Officer for many years before his retirement.
Anthony is survived by his son Andrew "Antonio" Carello of Las Vegas, NV. He was the brother of Viola Ursini, Anne Victurine, and brother of the late Joseph, Angelo, Fortunato, John, Raymond, William Carello, and Dorothy Garvin. He is also survived by his beloved sister-in-law Joan Carello, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Tuesday morning from 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000-Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142.
