Anthony J. Cece, Sr

74, formerly of Warwick, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Eleanor Slater Hospital, Cranston. He was the beloved husband of the late Claire (O'Donnell) Cece. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Mario and Angelina (Lombardi) Cece. Anthony was the owner of the former Cece's Place in Providence. He is survived by his loving children, Anthony J. Cece, Jr. and his wife JoAnn of Coventry, Robbin A. Pacheco of Warwick, and Christina M. Metivier and her husband Leo of Fond du Lac, WI. He was the cherished grandfather of four and the great-grandfather of one. He was the brother of Ronald E. Cece of Providence, Richard D. Cece of Smithfield, and the late Mario G. Cece. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Burial will be private.
