Anthony C. Ginolfi

64, of Johnston, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Moretti) Ginolfi. Born in Providence, Anthony was a son of the late Anthony and Alice (Toste) Ginolfi. Mr. Ginolfi worked for the Johnston School Department in maintenance for 15 years, before retiring and was the owner and operator of TJ Landscaping. He was an Army National Guard veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. Anthony was an avid sports fan and coached CLCF sports for many years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his devoted children Jason Ginolfi of Johnston, and Amy Viens and her husband Craig of North Providence. Anthony was the cherished "Poppie" of Noella, Peyton, Casey and Maxwell. He was the dear brother of James J. Ginolfi and his wife Debra of Cranston, Joyce Ginolfi of Johnston, and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christina Burial in St. Bartholomew's Church, Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence at 11:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS will be Tuesday 4:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
