Anthony F. Loporchio

79, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Cranston. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie Ann (Principe) Loporchio. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Francesco  “Frank” and Filomena (Malardo) Loporchio. Anthony was a journeyman painter and maintenance man for the Providence School Department from 1962-1995 and was a Little League Baseball coach. In his leisure time he enjoyed reading, classic movies, Red Sox Baseball and being a food connoisseur.

He is survived by his loving son, Anthony F. Loporchio, Jr. of West Warwick.  Anthony was the brother of Vincent Loporchio and his wife Patricia of Westerly.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Committal Prayers and burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dana- Farber Cancer Institute, 450  Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
