Anthony R. Querceto 82, of Jamestown and Fort Myers, Florida passed away on Friday August 7, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Olivenne (Ferruolo) Querceto. They were married 53 years. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Sabatino and Rosaria (DeFusco) Querceto. Mr. Querceto was Interior Decorator for his family owned business, The Hollywood Curtain Shop in Providence. He also was the Town Clerk for the Town of Johnston under Mayor aRusso, and was on the Johnston Zoning Board, and also served as their Chairman. Anthony was also a member and Past President of the Johnston Lions, and was a WW II Army veteran, serving in the Philippines. Besides his wife, Anthony is survived by his loving children, Mark Querceto of Johnston, Melanie Sherburne of North Kingstown, his sister Rose Martino of Providence, and was also the cherished grandfather of Michael and Morgan Sherburne, and Loretta Querceto. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10am in St. Mark's Church, 60 Narragansett Ave. Jamestown.
