ANTHONY F. 'JUNIOR' RAINONE

82, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday August 1, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Yolanda (Marro ) Rainone.

He was the son of the late Anthony and Clarice (Smith) Rainone. Anthony was a Korean War Army Veteran. He worked as a tool maker for various manufacturing companies for many years before his retirement. Anthony was inducted in the Southern New England Soccer Hall of Fame.

Besides his wife he was the devoted father of Peter C. Rainone, Joseph P. Rainone and Steven J. Rainone; loving grandfather of Gersham, Tairzah, Lauren and Tyler. He was the dear brother of Carlo Rainone, Robert Rainone, Ronald Rainone, Lillian Hawkins, Beverly DiFruscio and the late Angelina "Pinky "Giorgio.

His funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston at 12 noon. Interment with military honors will follow at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
Visiting hours are Saturday Morning from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
