77, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of MaryAnn (Pichette-Arpin) Rega. Born in Cranston, he was the son of the late John and Antonia (Iannuccilli) Rega. Mr. Rega was the owner and operator of Regal Service in Cranston; and he also served in the US Navy Reserves. Anthony was an avid golfer, and longtime member and a former Vice President of the Alpine Country Club.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Ronald N. Arpin, Jr. and his wife Joyce of North Providence, Cheryl A. Gaudet of Dallas, TX and William A. Arpin of Houston, TX. He was also the cherished grandfather of 5, great grandfather of 6, and dear brother of John Rega, Joseph Rega and Mary Magno, all of Cranston. Anthony was also the brother of the late Rita Rega and Jean Martin. He was also survived by many nieces and special friends.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8 pm.
