Anthony J. Ruscetta

87, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence.  Anthony was the beloved husband of the late Olga V. (Giarrusso) Ruscetta.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Maria (D’Ovidio) Ruscetta.  Anthony worked for the City of Cranston as Treasurer for many years before his retirement.  He loved square dancing with his wife and did so for many years.

He is survived by his loving children Anthony Ruscetta and Donna Ruscetta of Cranston and Ronald and his wife Kathleen Ruscetta of Memphis, TN.  He was the cherished grandfather of Ryan and Lorren Ruscetta and the great grandfather of four.  He was the dear brother of Domenic Ruscetta of Seekonk, MA and Nickolas Ruscetta of Escondido, CA.  He was the brother of the late Salvatore Ruscetta and Mary Spremulli.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston at 10 a.m.  Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 5 - 8 p.m.
