Antoinette (Tashjian) Diarbi

90, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, August 30, 2026. at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Ki Diarbi. Born in Aleppo, Syria, she was the daughter of the late Dikran and Naima (Hana) Tashjian.

Mrs. Diarbi was a member of Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church in Providence; and a member of the Armenian Red Cross.

She was the devoted mother of Arda Tavitian and her husband Ishkan, Steve Diarbi and his wife Andrea and Danny Diarbi, all of Cranston, Harout “Harry” Diarbian and his wife Christine of Seekonk, MA and Dikran Diarbi and his wife Taline of Maryland; cherished grandmother of eleven; loving great-grandmother of five; and dear sister of Mihran Tashjian of Warwick, Siranoush Sahakian of Cranston, Maro Alajajian of Syria and the late Garabed Tashjian, Janet Simonian, Antranig Tashjian and Mardo Tashjian.

Visiting hours are Friday, September 4th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence, with a Funeral Service beginning at 11 a.m., followed by burial at North Burial Ground, Providence.
