97, of Simmonsville Ave., Johnston, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Carlo Uciferro. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Marie (DiMuccio) Zinno.
Antonetta worked for the Town of Johnston as a crossing guard and later for the school lunch program before retiring.
She was the devoted mother of Judith Ann Gareau and her husband Steven and Steven John Uciferro and his wife Donna, all of Johnston; loving grandmother of Tara Uciferro-Dickie and her husband William, Kevin Uciferro, and Heather McKaig and her husband Mark; loving great-grandmother of Maya and Ava McKaig, Juliet Uciferro and Joseph Dickie; and dear sister of the late Joseph, James and Anthony Zinno and Caroline Ruggiero.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday, May 19th at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS are THURSDAY MORNING from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
